Private Barrel Plan: a completely private barrel of whisky

Your own barrel of whisky, made entirely according to your wishes.

For this barrel you determine the complete taste. You choose the type of malt yourself, including the peat smoke content (PPM).

We then invite you to the mashing, fermenting and distilling of the whisky. You can be present at all steps of the process and participate under the guidance of the master distiller.

Once the new make spirit is distilled, it is diluted to your desired strength and goes into the cask. You have the choice of a refill bourbon barrel or a sherry cask.

From that moment on, maturation begins and we recommend at least 5 years. But the choice is yours. On which Whisky Day or by appointment, you can come and taste to see how your barrel is doing.

Is the whisky suitable for bottling in your opinion? Then we will make sure that all whisky is at drinking strength. Again, you determine what alcohol percentage we will use for that. Then we bottle the barrel.

The costs are €4,500 for a bourbon barrel and €5,500 for a sherry cask.

You buy the barrel directly and you will receive a contract from us for the entire period of 5 years. Excise duty, VAT and storage costs are already included. The barrel is also insured against loss, theft and damage.
